For You
You don't know me.
I wrote this for whoever needed it most today.
And somehow that's you —
which I don't think is an accident.
There's a cross in front of you.
The weight you've been pretending isn't there —
the one you'd put down if you could.
He sees it. And I see it too.
He carried His for you.
Not to take yours away —
but so you'd know yours is survivable.
So you'd know you never carry it alone.
So pick it up.
I believe you can carry this.
He's already at the heavy end with you.
The cross is yours. The strength is His.
With you,
— Kenneth Weikel
If you'd like
I'd be honored to pray with you.
Send me a note — I'll read every one.
